D.F.E., Destine Fame Entertainment Formed by two Chicago natives in 2003, has grown to be one of the nations most diverse labels ever. D.F.E. consists of Hip-Hop, rap, R&B, Neo Soul, & Reggaeton. This label has put together a phenomenal resume as an indie label and has been thrusting through America's music scene with their group also known as DFE. The name is actually the same as the label which fits its group members the best: Destine Fame Entertainment. Keeping the label name saves a lot of work when people ask us who we are. There are 6 members who consist of DFE. Ray E (R&B & Hip-Hop), Villion(Hip-Hop & Rap), Ella Capone( Hip Hop & Rap), FD AND JAY OF DPF .(Reggaeton & Hip-Hop), Jair(Hip-Hop, Rap & Reggaeton). DFE is a group with individually talented artist, who each have their own style, energy, and charisma to add. This means that each artist could put out their own album fulfilling all top selling genres of music today with a sound completely different from anything mainstream(Industry). DFE has also split the amazing latino half of DFE into their own group called DA PERBIAN FLOW which consist of FD., , & JAY . This sound they have as the group DFE could best fit into the music genre most call Reggaeton, but with a strong vibe of R&B & Hiphop. After crafting their new upbeat sound & style of music DFE hit the music scene in late 2004 by going to the Radio Now 93.1 while one of the nation's best was at the turntables: Dj Orion. He was spinning some hot music & DFE asked him and former 93.1 Dylan if they could take a listen to new music we had, and on a commercial break they listened on a nearby mp3 player connected to the turntables and told DFE, that the song called kalitone was hot. A few seconds later they decided to give it a play to see how the music listeners responded to it. Moments after they played it listeners were calling and trying to see who it was. After that night, music listeners started requesting kalitone to be played and that continued for a year. Thats when DFE knew they had a sound that could compete with industry music. All Thanks go out to Dj Orion for taking a risk on DFE whom seem to be not yet known until then. This label also consists of a strong soulful Neo-Soul/R&B Singer named Alexis. Alexis gives the label that soft, sexy sound better known as Lex Appeal. Her Sound catches your ears and puts you in another world of music, and that what gives her that uniqueness the label need to be a well rounded. DFE still a growing label and has just added one of the best managers in the nation Giovanni ''The Don'' who we feel has just completed the DFE Family Circle and who we know works in our best interest and he, believes DFE's Music proves that different cultures can come together in the music industry and create real hit songs, Hip-Hop, Reggaeton and R&B all together on one track .This gives the listener a chance to feel and vibe with the artist which allows them see and hear where the artist is really coming from. DFE. unifies and completes the circle in the urban music industry. DFE is street and mainstream, it is universal and international
