How does judging work?
The community’s votes will help to determine the top 15 bands, AKA the quarter-finalists. But only eligible bands will get to move forward to this round. Check out The Official Rules to see what makes an eligible band.
A Sí TV Review Committee of industry experts will then evaluate the 15 quarter-finalists to determine which 6 score the highest according a list of criteria that includes originality, musicianship and marketability. Click here to learn more about the review process and criteria.
The 6 chosen bands, AKA the semi-finalists, will be flown to LA, where the competition will continue on TV.

What's the difference between a public profile and a hidden profile?
You must upload at least 1 song, 1 photo and a bio in order to have a public profile.
If you are missing any one of these items, your profile will be hidden to the public.
Can I change my band's picture, song and biography?
You can change out your pictures and update your bio at anytime. However, once songs are uploaded, they cannot be changed. Make sure to submit at least 1 song, 1 photo and a bio so your profile is viewable by the public.
Do I have to pay my own way to perform on Sí TV?
Nope. If you are one of the 6 semi-finalists, we're flying your whole band out.
Where do I get the banner to promote myself to my friends?
For bands, we have created a banner that you can use to promote your band. Sign into your account and click on “Promote!” You will find the code to embed in your blog, social network or website.
When does the contest end?
The last date for submissions is December 5, 2007 11:59:59 PST.

Can more than 1 band member create a profile?
Since only 1 entry per band will be valid for judging, we advise that you only create 1 profile for your band.
For Voters:
Why do I need to register to vote?
You must register to vote so we can ensure that you only vote for 1 contestant once a day. It's only fair!
You can feel free to vote for multiple bands, but only once per day.
How does my vote factor in with the judges' decision?
Your vote is critical. It helps us determine the top 15 eligible bands that should move on. Once you pick the 15, Sí TV will pick the 6 Semi-Finalists to advance. Check our Contest Page for more details.
When does the online voting begin and end?
Online voting begins on December 6, 2007 00:00:00 PST and ends on January 3, 2008 11:59pm PST.

How many times can I vote?
You can vote once a day for a band.
You can vote for more than one band per day.
Can I vote if I'm in a band that's in the contest?
Yes, if you register as a Voter, you can vote for your band.
General:
I'm having trouble logging into my account.
Make sure you have confirmed your email address.
Check your spam box.
Check to make sure you are using the correct password and username.
Clear your browser's cookies and temporary internet files and then try logging in again.
If you forgot your password, click “Forgot Password” and we will send it to you.
We may delete profiles if they violate the site's Terms & Conditions.
I forgot my password.
Click Log In.
Click on the Forgot Password link.
You will need to enter the email address that we have on file for your account. We will then email your password to that address.
How do I change my password?
Log into your account.
Click "Edit Profile" in the top navigation menu of any page.
Update your password on the “Band Info” page and click "Save." You can now log in using your new password.
